The Metro FC organization is proud to announce that the u16 boys Rapids will be playing an international friendly against the u16 National Team of India. The "Bhangara Boys" have just completed their qualification for the U16 AFC Championships as group C winners. This event will allow Metro FC players to experience international competition against one of the best teams in Asia. Metro FC will be the only Ohio team that the Indian National Team plays against while they conduct their tour/training camp in the United States. "This is a great opportunity for our players, one that we couldn't pass up. Most players that play club soccer in this country rarely have the opportunity to play a full national side," said Metro FC Director of Coaching and U16 Boys Rapids Head Coach Kevin Arcuri. The game will be played in Charleston, West Virginia on Sunday ,July 6th. Metro will provide updates as we get closer to the event.
