Metro College Night a Huge Success
Club Sponsored Recruiting Seminar Very Well Attended
Metro FC recently hosted a highly successful college recruiting seminar for high school athletes. The event was attended by over one hundred parents, players, and coaches. The panel included Metro Advisory Board Members, Mike Tucker (University of Dayton Head Women’s Coach) and Dennis Currier (University of Dayton Head Men’s Coach). Also joining in the discussion were Ohio Wesleyan Head Women’s Coach ,Bob Barnes, and University of Dayton Assistant Women’s Coaches, Amy Berbary and Sergio Gonzalez. The program was an informational discussion about the college recruiting process, NCAA Rules and Regulations, eligibility, and a question and answer portion from the crowd. Metro FC continues to be committed to providing the best possible soccer experience to their players. This program is no exception as it has undoubtedly enlightened the high school aged athletes from Metro about the possibilities of college soccer. Look for Metro to continue to lead the Dayton area in providing what is best for youth soccer players.
