Congratulations to three Metro FC teams for outstanding performances this past weekend. The U16 Metro Rapids Girls team won the Louisville Cup. The team is coached by Bishop Fenwick Head Girl's coach, Tom McEwan. The team defeated Indy Burn 2-1,LSC Center SC 5-0, SCS Extreme 6-0 and Cardinals 1-0 in the finals. Also competing at the Louisville Cup were the U18 Girls White team. Battlling several injuries, the team managed to get to the finals by losing to Indy Burn 2-0, defeating CESA 2-0, and defeating Washington SC 4-0 in group play. In the finals, the team dropped a 1-0 decision to Indy Burn. The team is coached by former UD standout and former Indiana University Assistant Coach, Nina Diguardi.

The U12 Boys Rapids also played well and were finalists at the Champions Cup in Columbus. The team defeated FOSC 1-0, ISC Storm 1-0, and tied NCSL Eagles Blue 0-0 in group play. In the finals, the boys dropped a 1-0 decision to Arsenal FC from Pennsylvania. The team is coached by Karl George and trained by Metro FC Director Kevin Arcuri.
