The Metro FC Rapids u15,u16 and u17 boys were all impressive at the Carmel Crossroads of America College Showcase this past weeekend. The Crossroads Showcase attracts college coaches from all over the midwest each year. The boys u15 Rapids went 3-0 on the weekend. They defeated IPSC 4-0, CUSC Premier ’93 6-0, and CUSC Inferno (Bowers) 6-2. The team played wonderful attacking soccer all weekend. The team is coached by Wright State Head Men's Coach, Mike Tracy. The u16 Boys Rapids were equally impressive on the weekend. They defeated CUSC Inferno 6-0, Canadian Powerhouse Oakville Soccer Club 2-1, and tied Football Club of Evansville 1-1. The Rapids had the better of play against FCE, but weren’t able to convert on several chances. The team is coached by Metro FC Director of Coaching, Kevin Arcuri. The u17 boys Rapids went 1-1-1 for the event. The tied the Mississaugua Panthers from Canada 2-2, defeated the All-Pro TG Elite from England 4-1, and lost to a very good Ajax FC from Chicago 3-2.
